a mobile app for civic engagement

CIVICS LAB
Class Description
Students will learn about current issues in their communities as they analyze local problems and solutions through their private class code on Amplify. Students can comment and discuss with each other as calls to action are shared. Our once weekly class (both live and zoom options) meet to review and critique both the media and logic in the public sphere while we develop our ability to craft persuasive rhetoric backed by solid research. The end result is to make our community a better place through an increase of respectful and well-researched citizen engagement.
Inquire about class days, times and size. Flexible to fit your needs.
Separate classes for adults, and youth ages 13+.
